Ethanol PICS

Post by sci470 »

Hello,

My name is Patrick Sciacca and I'm with Power & Motoryacht magazine. We've been working on an ethanol story, and I see many members who have dealt with ethanol issues. I was wondering any members, may have images of any of the repairs, damage, or refitting that has been done on any of the 31s affected by ethanol to help illustrate our story? Thank you for your time.

Best regards,
Capt. Patrick Sciacca

Capt. Patrick...
I have a friend who was just hit by the Ethenol monster and emailed me some pictures.
Here are the scary pictures....

Guys,

Just saw these from a guy who's dealing with an ethanol separation problem. Apparently, it comes in two flavors. One is a white, snotty particulate. The other is a gummy brown looking varnish, which is what got me a couple of weeks ago.
