I've hired a celebrity captain for the thingy. Capt Jr comes highly recomended. I've been on a boat(sorta, it was a RLDT and I'm not sure it counts) he was running at over 20knts and not once did I puke, nor was I caused to spill the overly full glass of clear liquid that my host provided me. So he got the job

Hope the tubb will be ready by then(or close enough that it runs, don't burn or sink, unless I can get a bookey to overinsure it)

So how about this for a idea, after telling the Hatt guys about all the fun you guys on lesser boats at your little get togethers, they want to have a bert-hatt shoot out at Neils thingy. You guys up for the idea? Or are you a scared of getting your butts handed to you by a 9 year old running a chopped up tubbbb with oil slinnin dump truck motors?

I Love the idea, a Bertram Hatteras shootout Carnival Style. You know who can drink the most, make the loudest noise hitting the floor. Technicolor puke awards a real hoot.
And when the weather gets crappy us RLDT drivers can jump into a boat with a cabin that fits more than 3 people for a cocktail.

If he can get used to the single levers he's welcome to drive er. All the fun is in the pit anyway. We'll give him a fake mustache so nobody asks how old he is.

I be there for sure. I will even fish any days you want before and after in case of weather. Montauk has a great history of fishing so if we have a shootout there needs to be some title to fish for and not for money. Someone smarter than me could come up with one. Im sure Thudddd can think one up.

Hope everyone enjoyed the holiday.

Motors are out, top is off, tubb is shrinked and things are on schedule.
Got a quote on 6 yamaha out boards for the tubb. Working with my fabricator from NH to design and build the bracket system, should be sweet.
