Just thought I'd share a pic of the fresh bottom. It dropped in this past Tuesday, now just waiting for the batteries to be here. Monday the batteries get put in and I'm off.

The boat I got has exhaust out the side.( Gas engines ) I know it is great because when you troll, the fumes don't wash back in area. The only problem I see is a little black soot residue on the vents, but it washes rite off. Of course it is a white boat so black sticks out alot.

Capy, It has twin 454's for power. I live off Jefferson, just south of 23 mile and north of Brandenburg Park. I am about 500 ft from Anchor Bay. She is in a slip for now. The boat is the Believer.

I lived on the water my whole life and bought a house on the water about four years ago and just purchased a 1979 31 Bertram. Can't wait to take her out and and start fishing and cruising. Wish me luck. Mark
