Re: Non Skid Deck Paint
Kiwi-Grip seems to be the 'boss' of the 'quick coat' off the shelf and out of a can non skid surfaces, from what I see it can also be tinted to whatever colour wanted. A few years ago Kevin did his B28 deck with it and the photos looked super. It is pricey though. Jeff: As to those minimal instructi...

Re: B28 Bilge Pump Switch and Fuse Panels
If tracing/testing the original wiring is proving fruitless I'd run a new wire from the batteries to the existing forward locker location if you are just trying to get things going and keep to the old wiring scheme for the time being, you can use the port side gunnel area as a wiring run starting fr...

Re: Hole Drilled in My Hull
Presumably the hole was drilled at an accessible low point in the bilge in which case I'd install a garboard drain and be done with it. [ If it makes you feel any better years ago I had a 'worker' Sawzall out a section of one of my stringers instead of unbolting and removing the engine bed 'sister' ...

For what it's worth and if I recall correctly the B28's Y's are 3 equal 3" outlets, the 3/12" side being sleeved so as to accommodate the larger exhaust on the straight overboard side.

Unfortunately the information you need is not going to be found by way of B28 owners this side of the pond, what you need is more than the owners info being mentioned - there are very basic line drawings available but no "construction plans...

Yannis, For what it's worth the 'classic' B28 O.E.M. swim platforms were affixed by way of 3 sections of stainless steel tubing [1" diameter usually] which had flat tabs top and bottom......the top tabs were through bolted with backers behind the transom and the bottom tabs were lag screwed directly...

Last time I looked at Wilsonart brand laminate colour chips there were a couple which were pretty much an exact match for Bertram's OEM 'dark' brown formica, assuming that is the colour you have and not the lighter ' light oak' looking formica!

What make exhaust elbows are those you have? They look higher than 'normal', regardless of the spacers you are not using.........you may want to check, as if you are inch short you might solve via using less tall elbows if available. Other than that maybe time for some custom stainless steel headers!
