Textilene will help keep the sun out...........but not rain or sea water.......solid vinyl is best for the windows! I use textilene as a sun blocker for the cockpit of my boat, helps tremendously at the dock slip or when on anchor in keeping the back deck cooler as well as for a bit of added privacy...
