Kill switch didn't cause the failure. The mechanics back yard rebuild would be the culprit in my opinion or just a plain ole part failure.

Powder coating needs to be done to the ANCI standards or it doesn't last, the problems I have encountered with power coating is when u attach the piece with fasteners, as the fastener gets tighter to the powder coated surface, it will serpent up friction and tend to gall the powder coating and loos...
