A quick look, I'd say the pin could be pulled allowing one bracket to be flipped to mount on the inside. May require a little grind here and there for clearance.

Could be a royal pain to remove and re-attach when short-handed.

If you ever call a truck for fuel you'll want to take what you can get over paying at the marina pumps. Also good if the fuel docks around you are not great in having good fuel or hours. We have two fuel docks in my harbor, once the regular boating season comes to a close, open hours are rare...

Oh, you are asking for opinions! I have one... You said a couple of blisters...I'd think at the age of your boat, if the hull had issues they would have surfaced way before now. A couple of blisters should be taken care of, clean hulled and sealed with a barrier coat (only as you blasted the bottom)...

You have a solid glass hull, put the meter away. They are kinda of useless in the wrong hands.

In my eyes the biggest issue with moving the rudder aft is you lose the room to change your props. I’d be lousy having to drop the rudders each time you want to pull them. If you bumped the angle to 12-1/4 or 12-1/2° that should put the strut in original location, no? Maybe trim a little off the end...

Jason, from what I recall the pre storm blocks were ok at 300hp, not bulletproof. The idea was to underrate these motors a bit to keep them banging away for years with no worry. Once the new n improved storm block came out you could really lean on the motors.
