Nice fish Jason! Good way to end a season and kids look like they are enjoying. I don't mind barefoot...but at these temps my feet are cringing just thinking about it. Peter- I think you're talking about a hole shot. The boat is at planning speed almost instantly as you throttle up. You now have Big Wheels and tons of torque to turn them almost instantly on your boat. You're getting to speed and on plane before the boat has a chance to squat. Heck, your 370 motors...

Nice looking Bertrams, and looks and sounds like it was a great day on the water. LOL, mine passes as OK at 50' or better. Jasons boat kept looking better and better the closer I got to it. He really did a fantastic job on that boat, it's a real looker. His numbers say it's a great performer too!

Taking the boat to go explore an island, that's cool!

We have two man-made islands here, but they are off-limits to the public. The old quarantine islands from days gone by, Hoffman and Swinburne Islands. Today it's a bird sanctuary.

Seems like an awful lot of water to be had by condensation.

Getting bad gas is possible, especially from mom-and-pop places. That would be the easiest fix of all.

Interesting how the boat was designed with being used for military use…then again I believe the same was true with the 31’s. I wrote that wrong...the boats were considered and used to some degree by the military. They just did a keel up restoration, New Cat C7.1 engines, complete tower and interior...

Knit Witt was refurbished in the late 80’s early 90’s, did they redo again? So you think the water was acquired from a gas station? I’d guess that is the lesser of all evils. Easier to avoid a bad station then figure out n fix a problem with boats fuel system.

Aren’t you on the wrong side of the country? My 02 says it looks close, but also looks like the black cabin windows are going all the way to the back of the cabin. After 13 years I got tired of moving those shafts around, so I just got rid of them. Trust me I don't miss them. By the way, they are only scrap metal. A magnet sticks to them. Project creep can keep you on the hard and dry stuff for a long time while emptying the pockets.
