The Chesapeake Bay had that nasty Nor'easter a week and a half ago and the water was as high as it was in Ernesto and almost as high as Isabell!!! I didn't even see it coming until the day it got here!! That is two sneaky storms in a row for us!!

I have had a Trucharger for 5 years and I am pleased with it. I still have the same two Optima AGM batteries I put in with the charger!! So far no problem, but I will change them soon as a precaution.

Be careful about shooting them into the air. I know of a couple of people who got in trouble for that on the 4th of July. apparently if you aren't in trouble you can only shoot white test flares! I occasionally shoot one of my old ones horizontally to test them.

If they are selling ultra low sulfur there, then yes. You can add as little as 2% biodiesel to replace the lubricity if you can find it near you.

Sean: How about building up fiberglass around the affected shaft log on the side that is too close to the shaft so that the next size up stuffing box hose would fit and be lined up with the shaft? I know you can get the PSS hose for different size logs and I assume that you can get regular stuffing ...

I leave mine empty if I can. I'd rather have the Racors catch what little condensation there is than deal with a tank full of crappy fuel!! That was one of the great benefits of a fiberglass tank - no corrosion!!

How about the desiccant "snakes" that go inline to the airhose? They are threaded on each end and would be easy to atttach and not take up nuch space.
