I have a 4.0 Fischer Panda and can run A E/C; Hot H2O heater, battery charger and if needed block heaters without any problems. Expensive geni but it fits port outboard side of Cummins 6BTA 330 hp.

I have a Panda 4 and use the sound shield and this casing will bring down the noise a lot. I fact I find the vibration more noticeable than the noise using the sound shield. I have mine mounted port outboard side on my 31.

Rawleigh, you know it's not too bad since it's fully enclosed with sound shield. I installed it on rubber pads to reduce the vibration but like most genis you can hear and feel it running but not annoying. Biggest issue is the exhaust is sometime below waterline and this causes a wet transom and bub...

I have the Fischer Panda 4.0 and it fits on port side next to Cummins 6BTA. A little tight but it went in no problem. If you want pics I can send later today. This 1 cylinder diesel unit runs at 3600 RPM but burns no fuel...I think 1/4 gal/hr. and it can run reverse cycle A/C & heat.

I've read or heard that any cleaning product that contains some bleach that is not rinsed off completely may cause pink spots on vinyl and the stitching. Once it turns light shade of pink it's difficult to remove. No idea why this reaction occurs.

Finished with 5 coats rolled on epoxy barrier (alternating color from gray & white) and 2 coats antifouling paint. I have a blue hull and it's a lot of care to keep it looking good. It always needs to be freshwater sprayed after running cause when dry all the salt crystals appear. Also, if you get any nicks or scratches they show. Blue looks great but requires maintenance.

Looked for the diode and no luck locating it. So I'll try using the oil pressure switch to excite alternator. My question is do I connect each hub of oil pressure switch and bring each wire to the alternator spade connection to create the circuit to excite the alternator?

Bob, I have trolling valves on my ZF's so can get very slow. However with both in gear w/o using valves I idle at 5.5 knots. Top end is 33 knots.
I look forward to steering through various sea conditions but for yesterdays shake down all went perfectly in flat water.

Charlie,
It's repowered with 330 cummins. Last fall turned 1,000 hrs. Most work done between '96 - '98. New geni in 2010. I got the boat in '03 and put all the fishing components on her. Previously used for cruising the Chesapeake. Hope to make the 2012 rendezvous.
