Panama towel taming trick

Post by In Memory of Vicroy »

Saw this trick on all the boats at TSL. Each boat had a paper towel holder on the forward bulkhead in the cabin, and to keep it from unwinding in the breeze, they had run about 8" of mono with an egg sinker on the end over the roll of towels. Mono is tied behind the towel holder. Bingo, works perfect. I have a half bath in my shop and every time you open the door the paper towels fly up and unroll. Not no 'mo. Panama towel tamer did the trick. Would also work on toilet paper roll. Simple & 100% effective.

I continue to marvel at man's ingenuity........

"Panama Vic"!

Post by Capt. Mike Holmes »

I hearby officially change the nickname from "The VERY Famous Uncle Vic" to "Panama Vic"" Thye'll be naming hats after him next, and when he finds a nice retirement spot down there and moves, I'll take a shot at being his neighbor!
