Well, from all reports they seem to add some lift and knock down the spray. They glue on, so supposed to be an easy install. On the other hand they look fonky on a B31 to my eye.

Spray rails

Phil, I ran a 31 years ago that had large wooden spray rails, They weren't real pretty, but they did help - as we found out on the first trip after the owner removed them. John Cranston's spray rails are so big they almost act as an extended planing surface - they are pretty much a chine extension, if I remember correctly - and I understand they also do a good job at knocking down spray.

Personal choice here, does the boat being occasionally wet bother you a lot?
"There is nothing quite so satisfying, as simply messing around in boats."
