Rub rail question

Post by jayjays1 »

Gentlemen. Looking to replace my rub rail. Danny at Hightide doesn't carry the pvc version anymore. I am told that Integrity Marine has the closest.

I have posted the link below. Which of these products do you think closest resembles the PVC rail with SS insert that used to be available for the 31?

Try Taco. I believe they have a profile that is close to the original.

Thanks Tony. Here is the link from Taco also. They have similar profiles to integrity. Which do you think would work? I am concerned about accommodating the very proud seam where the upper and lower decks meet.

Integrity will send you samples they sent them to me but I went with high tides. They had one that was used on Viking that would work on our boats.

Is that Danny at High Tide because he says he doesn't have one for the B31 anymore?

JJ,
After I spoke with Mark at Integrity Marine, I've been in touch with Chris, but I'm still waiting for samples since one month now and even if I sent him CC details, no news so far...
Taco is listing SS profile only: no Rub Rail...

High Tides rub rail is not the stock 31 rail, It's for the 35 I believe. Call this guy he has the 31 rail that if i recall my conversation correctly is the capt pat version. It comes with the bow already bent. I bought his and had it shipped to MA. Worth every penny

Alex Whitaker use to be a supplier of Parts for the 31. I thought he liquidated all of his parts when he focused on the Trailer business.

He is a great guy and loves to talk 31's.
