Morse/Seastar MT3 Controls - Throttle Cable

So finally got my controls installed. Think I can get everything adjusted except my Port Engine. I've adjusted down the cable as far as I can to make it as short as possible. I've installed the bracket at the engine at the furthest possible adjustment.
I am still around an inch+ to far. Is there a different bracket for the engine that puts the bracket further aft? Is there something that I am missing here?
Engines are Cummins 315/330's

The cable bracket needs to be mounted further back.
From your picture, the bracket on the motor to cable bracket, you might be able to flip it around the other way.
If not, just extend the bracket. Weld a piece, make a new longer one or add an extension plate...piece of metal with a few holes to bolt.

I have 370’s and both port and starboard are the same.

It's funny - mine are push - got know the MT3's pretty well now. Was able to flip one of the brackets to make it work. Even though I put PB Blaster down the cables - I was still having the starboard cable hang up - so replaced it - and now it's like butter.

Glad you got it figured out. Never problems only solutions!
