The Striker yacht used in Caddy Shack is up for sale thru a Stuart yacht broker.
I think they are asking around 385k.

"It's easy to grin / When your ship comes in / And you've got the stock market beat. / But the man worthwhile, / Is the man who can smile, / When his shorts are too tight in the seat."

" You wanna make 7 dollars the hard way?"

" I bet you were something before electricity"

Wow who would have thought that boat was still around.

Great Movie.

I wonder if it has any autographs on it.

Great movie. Too bad Dangerfield is gone. Would have been great to get him to promote the sale.

Seafood is docked on my creek. I've been going past it every time I go out for the past few years. It makes me smile every time. I'm going to hate to see it go.

I've been thinking about a condo in the Carolinas, but maybe this makes more sense.

Guess I'll go look at it.

The iron looks tired. 150k upgrades it looks like.

"Don’t sell yourself short Judge, you’re a tremendous slouch"

“He’s a Cinderella story. A former assistant groundskeeper about to become the Masters champion. It looks like a mirac… It’s in the hole! It’s in the hole! It’s in the hole!”

“You buy a hat like this, I bet you get a free bowl of soup. But it looks good on you."

If you come down to see it, we have a guest bedroom, you can take a look at Crows Nest, and we can fish my B20. I’m just getting over (unfortunately very slowly) Covid, so you may want to give it a bit.

Outside of the engine room she looks like she is in good shape.

I know Striker was all aluminum and always told it was a solid boat. Never been on one, so I have no idea how they are in a heavy sea, but if it comes with the pictures and the Dangerfield cut out, I think Mike should grabg it.

Funny,
It was on Yachtworld three or 4 years ago for less than 60k.
Strikers are/were great sea boats, not real fast, but would maintain
in most sea conditions. Known/Marketed as "Little Ships"
They were built in Holland, shipped back by Herb Phillips.
The current company website appears to be smoke and mirror, with horrible sketches
and pictures of old Strikers and other yard's builds

But, being all aluminum, a through UT would be required before even considering one,
even one as ubiquitous as this one.

I'm likely going to sell my house in the next year or two. Its on deep water in the ACE Basin just south of Charleston. I need about 11 months till I'm eligible to sell and shelter some capital gains. Heckva lot better than a condo!

How far are you from an executive airport? I want to have a boat there and be able to fly down for weekends.

Mike! Do it! That boat is a complete brick. It'll go through anything. A little bit more maintenance because it aluminum but they really are mini-ships. The movie industry is just frosting on the cake!
