Never late for changing

Post by luis »

Finally at 60 I take a big change and leave the big city of Lisbon (noisy, too much confusion) and decided to move to my litle farm (about 60kms from Lisbon), close to river Tagus ( 1km). And to avoid some crazy idea of returning, just sell the house. Now the only place to leave is on the farm. Wife not very (yet) happy but is a question of time. Ah , the near big comercial center is at about 30 kms, the most near village is at about 5 kms so , now I go to finish my " I want to rebuild a Bertram 31" together with making a nice wine and enjoying peace and quiet. Already saw that on a near field there are some wild (delicious) rabbits.
Its a diferent view when you live there instead of going there only on some weekends.
Just for you my friends.
All the best

Sounds like a good place to wind down and enjoy life...

The best thing about a city is leaving.

Luis

Best of luck to you. I am sure you have worked hard over the 60 years and now while everyone is healthy, it is time to kick back and enjoy life. All the better if a Bertram 31 is part of it.

Luis- My 18 year old and my 19 year old spent 3 weeks in Spain and Portugal. My daughter said Lisbon was by far her favorite city in the Iberian. Good luck on the change, you will be happy I am sure.
