Interesting take on the Napier bottom. It reminds me of the old formula hulls from the 70s. The old boats with new diesels are an interesting deal. I have a 79 38fbc with 450 c cummins , she came with 270 555 cummins, probably did 16 kts. W the new motors she cruises at 22 pins at 28(kts) very tab sensitive( hyena grande) very stable no keel walk, yes there is a little keel. I think these hulls are actually better with more power than was originally available. At 28 she doesn't go bow down and steer. Capt Pat. what are your thoughts?.. Btw I'm flying in to Fredricksburgh tomorrow , outside San Antonio,,been there before, cool place.
