Grounding DC System when Engines are Out

Post by JohnV8r »

Hey Guys,

Engines are coming out of Shambala this week. What do I (or can I) ground the DC electrical that was grounded on the engine block to while the gas engines are out and I'm prepping for the new diesel engines?

I want to be able to run the stereo, turn on the interior lights, and cockpit spreader. Those are all on the DC side.

Thanks in advance!

Run a temporary ground from the existing engine ground wires to the negative terminal of the battery.
