That would be my buddy Reid. Quite the character. He is a perfectionist. Started in the auto body business and morphed to building boats. He built a few in the 27’ to 35’ range with a big Carolina flare but it was around the time of the recession so I don’t think he got a whole lot traction on the production side. I need to make a trip down to Casa Rio to check out this latest project. I haven’t seen them on the water yet so I assume he is still working on them.

Interesting article. Tony Accardo lived a few blocks from where I grew up in the Chicago area. I never met him or saw his pink boat but his son was a year ahead of me in grade school.
