How do I get the vent hoses clean without ripping the boat apart with a chain saw to get at them?

Walter et al,

I use the stanadyne. I guess it is good, it sure doesn't do harm.

With the Yanmars, they start easy, don't smoke and run smooth, and get great economy.

the Stanadyne product is supposed to enhance all of that.

A no lose proposition as far as I see it!

Mark showed up in GLP yesterday in the now famous blue Bertram Baron that we all saw over in Oak Bluffs! Air conditioning stink! How do I get rid of it?

When my dad fired up his AC this weekend, (with the new little honda genset!) it had a hell of a smell. Like Bilge.

But the bilge doesn't smell...

How do we clean it in order to get rid of the rank odor?

Anyone experience this, and have a cure?

Thanks,

Honda EU2000i genset experience I had

I bought a nice little genset, (the model in the title) and it came in last week. 48 lbs dry, small, and good looking anyway. This past weekend I fired it up and it is sweet. Quiet as a churchmouse, at 58 decibles while running wide open. It powers my whole boat without even breathing heavily so can...

I have always enjoyed the argument as to which is better, more fun, real boating, etc. It is always spirited, and in the past I used to get a bit tired of the accusation that powerboaters are not real boaters because they don't work with nature to get where they are going. All I could find were engines that were available if I had engines to "trade in".

Does that still exist as a qualification to get these things, or can you buy them "off the shelf"?
