John, Honestly after coming down there at least 15 times I can't even tell what roads I take once on LI. I just follow the GPS. I do know after I come off the Throggs Neck it's at least 3 other highways I'm on before i get to Hofstra..

I've always just cleaned out the lip joint of the cover with a screwdriver and a rag, seal it with tape and turn the can over when stored. No air no skin.

Had cans that were a couple years old I went back and used for touch-ups.

I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this. I wouldn't use any thing else but epoxy if this was a piece for my boat, but I'm trying to be somewhat sympathetic to my employees concerns. They want to use Titebond 3 in place of the epoxy because "the salesman said it's fine for the application"....
