Re: SeaKeeper

Good friend has a Valhalla 33 with a seakeeper. I'm a KISS guy, especially on boats, and to me it's one of the greatest boat inventions of all time. Just incredible. Works great on the drift and underway. And his is quiet. If I had the $ for a 35 (don't and never will), it'd be the first thing I'd g...

Now I’m totally lost is “cero”, zero in Spanish or a Chesapeake naval term. I thought they were those sugary things you get at a carvinal. I thought cero were mackerel. Patnovic at Whorton Creek did a B31 with prop tunnels, big Yanmars, and a full tower. It was supposed to be pretty fast. I saw the...

There's a decent B31 with Yanmar 240s on THT. Lots of recent work at Worton Creek--they do good work. The boat is listed at $75K as I remember. I'd really like side scan. I just couldn't find a place to mount the transom mount where it held bottom at anything above planing speed. The B20 has lots of strakes that are close together. The shoot thru holds up to 30 knts consistently. I'm going to see if I can get a shoot thru/thu hull and side ...

Airmar makes a mushroom style transducer. It sits flush to the hull. No need to build a box. https://www.airmar.com/productdescription.html?id=11 All you need is a hole saw. The one I have in I used a 4 inch hole saw. A little nerve wracking, but easy. For our boats you need the one that is on a 20...

Pretty boat. Bring a boat to a yard and have a top-notch refit done on a B31 and I'm pretty sure that you'll be close to that number and waiting a year or two for it to be completed. Good luck to the seller and way out of my league, but yeah, that's a lot.
