Hyena Love – The back bulkhead is teak. I replaced the back bulkhead & was going to go with paint over formica and my wife said teak would look nice & I told her fine by me if you’ll varnish it….9 or 10 coats later it turned out looking great. She’s a keeper, has put up with me for 27 years....

Mike,

I’m keeping her at Kirby’s. Same slip where Richard had the Cindy Lou. The boat ran ok but I’m not getting the RPMs I need. That and a few other odds & ends I found running her today will keep me busy for awhile. Still glad to be in the water though.

You might want to check with consumers marine & verify the thickness of that strap. I think when I checked it was quite a bit thinner than what Capt. Pat mentions in his tips section.
