I agree with what was said. So, the motors are mismatched. As long as the Transmissions are the same gear ratio, I wouldn't worry about it. Now if the older transmission is in question, change it. Otherwise fix it all up and go.

I like what they did with the interior on Huntress. Not crazy over the rear seating in the cockpit, unless it is removable for fishing. Mickey Is there a high colored die you could use to see if it is running out through the exhaust? It has to be going out the exhaust if you don't see a leak in the engine compartment. Our boat will be 49 years old in August. Those windows haven't been opened in 48 years. Always got spray through them and they always leaked. I sealed them shut with silicone.
