Thanks Jim, I may still look for a new charger but I'll wait till the Lauderdale Boat Show. Usually they have some good buys at the show.

I learned something new. I didn't know you needed special charger and I got 8 years out of my optimas. My neighbor got 9 years on the old style charger. I guess we're just lucky.

I used to use 8D batteries but they got to heavy for me to move. I replaced the two 8D batteries with 4 group 31 Orbital batteries and they lasted 8 years. I owned a 25 FB for years and I always ran the boat from the bridge. Great little boats. Only when I was working on the engines did I ever use the lower station.

Pete, I had been looking at condos in Stuart at both Windjammer and Circle Bay. The condos are about the same but Windjammer prices seem cheaper. Did your friend buy a condo in foreclosure? Thanks

Steve, I'm with you on the 41 Hatteras. As you said 13 Whaler, 41 Hatteras and 31 Bertram they made the name for some boat companies.

I'm looking at a Bertram 20 Bahia Mar with a questionable trailer. Could a rollback wrecker haul the boat and trailer? What would be the best way to get the boat from up north down to NC? What is the going rate for hauling something like this? Thanks Buzz

The good thing about a 20 would be the ease of trailering it. If I bought a 25 or 26 I probably wouldn't trailer it. I would just run it back and forth from Florida. Thanks Buzz

I used to own a 25 FBSF and it rode really well. If the ride on a 20 is anything near as good as a 25 that would be great. Most of the Bertram 20's that I've looked at have a 40-50 gallon fuel tank. Will that run a 20 all day? What's the range on a 20 Bertram with a 40 gallon tank? Thanks Buzz
