150 ETECS are great engines with reliability. The 2 strokes have less moving parts. I use to run them professionally for years. Ran the snot out of them and they just kept performing wonderful.

What materials are Riva manifolds made of? Their profile gives a little more room between the engines. I was told that it was some alloy and not cast.

Prop Speed is in my opinion still the best for running gear. Used it for 3 years now and the boat performs great. As for bottom paint the jury is still out. So sorry Pete. My Mom is currently recovering from a knee replacement.Just got out from 2 weeks of rehab. Lots of pain but therapist say she is on target. After witnessing all this I am going to take much better care of the ones I have. Take care and hope things improve for you.

I used AWLCARE on my transom. Now the diesel soot collects like crazy where I applied it. And srubbing it off now is a pain. Paint was one year old before application. Prior to that everything wiped up so easy. Does it get easier as the season wears on?

Yes very similar. I looked at them as well. The boat has a hump in the front deck that is spoils the lines. Just could not get past it.
