Ugh...a long solid coupling. Almost too long to be standard unless you have a double-tapered shaft...although the set screws would be the oddball. But maybe used to secure the nut. Over the years more and more boats, fewer marine haul out facilities. Some may have been ignorance or attempted insurance fraud but I bet most couldn't get a haul scheduled, just put the family in the car and drove away.
