Capt. Pat advised me years ago to use Hammerrite smooth aluminum paint on my windows, I followed his advise and it held up great for years. Here are two 38s with the bulkhead removed. They both have removable izon glass. I loved the idea and wanted to do it on our 38 but my wife shot it down quickly. Good luck with the project.

Yannis, I second Carl’s comment about the Kiwi grip, we did it on our racing sailboat and it’s killer because you can make it have as much or as little traction as you want. Brian, best thing to do is remove them from the hatches, take them to a polishing shop ( there will be quite a few if you google in your area, often custom powder coat places also polish) and then have then anodized again. You are correct 6BTAs 370Hp with Twin Disc MG 5055A trasnnies. Very happy with them so far, wide open (3100) she will do 28 knots.
