Re: Yanmar 6LP-STP Heat Exchanger
Today the Aegean water temp is 21C or 70F, and deep into the summer it will reach an average of 28-29C or 82-84F. As I was googling this info, I was tempted to also google the temps in BC and found out that the coldest water temp in August is 52F and warmest is 66F. So, depending on the exact area y...

Re: Eastwind 2022
I'm not aware if the 31 is like the 28, but in my 28 there are two openings per side, except for the lowest middle opening under the main bulkhead. Which means that even if you block that middle opening, there still is deck water reaching under the cabin floor... I hate water going into the cabin an...

look at the dimensions of this 55 liter Nuova Rade bladder.
You can squeeze it somewhere and for the uses you describe it should be enough.

Doug,
Do you swim in these waters? I mean what’s the water temp in the summer...I assume before June it should be too cold.
(from someone who finds the August temps in the Aegean too cold anyway).

Doug, One other reason the guy in the 70ish footer has arranged for a float plane and mechanic is probably because there is no gen set dealership in the area. Carl, Im preparing the boat and I can admit this winter has been very tiring, between turbos, instrument panel, solars... Do they still make boats, or do they design anything they can lay their hands on ?
Thanks.

Re: PERKO part number C/365
I'm not familiar with these steps as they cannot be used in the 28. However, I would say that they are most probably out of stainless steel, as the structure looks very thin and aluminum would bend (at such an angle) with a heavy person's weight. Which stainless steel renders the exercise a bit more...

Carl, One drawback I can think, which mostly applies to us here, has to do with the way we moor. Most of the times, boats moor stern-in, against concrete piers.
