Tom,

Went out with a guy to the Hudson who has the 370s but they were in a 34 Pursuit. Bigger boat so probably not a good comparison. Ran about 80 out running 20-22 knots, trolled about 60 miles, then ran about 75 back at 22-23. Burned about 250.

So I guess I should know this but I will the Cold Galvanize be better on the bronze struts and rudders or just the stainless. I'm along way from boat right now and yard uses Micron extra on all. I think they do the prop speed too but I'm reluctant to have them do that.

Just spoke to ZF dealer and they had similar response. They said as long as all other minerals were in line, just need to change oil. He said they will show high copper contents during extended intervals. If iron was high or lead or salt, Then a problem. Or you buy bankrolling a rebuild in the futur...

I agree with Cam! Crafty. Almost everyday you can learn something from this site. Are you going to add wings to the access area so it goes across the entire stern or just fit this piece to the star and then fair and paint the stern wall after putting the cleat pads in?

When I think of fresh water boats, think of bass boats, aluminum runabouts, etc. Look at those ships. Great Lakes would have them too but just never been exposed to fresh water that way.

Certainly is a sweet looking 25 with more room than I would have though possible (without using outboards of course). From a fishing perspective, maybe move the engine a couple of feet forward and run a jack shaft to the out drive. Don't think this was set up with fishing primary. Would lose storage...

Charlie, Make sure you get the coverages you are looking for as most agents/companies do not volunteer their exclusions. For example, some of the Fla guys may want to venture over to the Bahamas. You could also try Hydrogen Peroxide or Benefect Decon 30. Bleach could make the wiring brittle depending on the age of the wiring.
