looks nice...but we goin with a single Cummins 370 hp veedrive alot thinner.
Im wondering if theres any info on replacing fuel tanks... i think they need replacing anyhow..

Hiya guys ..been away for a while . now my son & i are repowering a 25 the hull is a sedan ..had twin chryslers & Vee drives .seem the fuel tanks are in the way of the new vee drive.. anyone heard of a non outdrive hull that was repowered? I know of the Seaboard marine one and its quite helpful....l...

Dug: I put a 1 1/2 inch or larger,your choice
PVC male adapter with a screw cap( low as possible.).. Drill an 1 1/2" hole ,install with 5200 in the bulkhead.... put the cap on either side.
I keep it screwed in at the dock & open it while running ... simple fix

John: I replaced my Port raw water pump last year.. surly would have been easier using the spaced motor mount.. (I used the seaboard pump) should be good for a few years now

John:I m not sure if anyone addressed this.. the port exhaust crossover needs room to wrap it with the heat blanket.. mine is fairly close to the engine hatch .I would not want it any higher. also dont forget about modifing the port front left motor mount for ease in replacing raw water pump.. thing...

Keith..yupthe kid is teachin me now.. lol & rightly so.. he got the 68 lber in Newport last year biggest all time for here... . then got the first & biggest thyis year so far 64#..Im kinda livin it thru him.. Bob..I now see the difference..deck sure looks good. I like the two handledfish boxes also....

The "Bad Company"(I think a 60ft Viking ..brand new). calm seas I hear.. hit a whale ..holed the bow area. They detached the generator intake up in that area & saved the boat.. almost a total loss.. few years ago. I got some pics somewhere ..

I used these mounts, when installing Cummins...very good quality... ..I was however overlooking the difficulty of replacing the raw water pump ....consider spacing them with a custom extention to set it away from the housing ...

Guys:.. I put a Controller on the stbd eng hatch,kinda like sea nile.....with electronic controls, its just plug & play..found a little hatch that fits right over & out of GRANDKIDS sight.. has a button on it to "Take command"..getting sore on the knees walkin up & down the ladder fishin bait * kelp...

If I can help .. Im at Basin while they are dredging my mooring field.. Basin has a crane with an arm that will fit under your brow...I have done this on land ..& had a bit of an issue installin Cummins with the brow,using a forklift..My son has a skippy in your area...

Fish boxes .. storage.,access to the deep part of the hull.. Generally well worth the effort..I put a pair of Cabo 35 fishboxes in my 31 with NO modifications to the boxes..the 5' exhaust runs straight out new holes in the transome.. Youll love it (No elbows )

IMHO.. all clamps below waterline should b doubled.. you can butt them to each other. (Tony Athens alway butts them togerther.. ) I have a secondary bait pump intake along the same midship area as your washdown but more to the keel.. It sucks air sometimes & I burn up a pump now & then & kill off ba...

Guys .. I just bought a 25 hardtop.maybe to replace my sons diesel skipjack... . its got the 318 vee drives.. both engines are toast.
