Yes that’s the new training ship. First trip for them, it wasn’t ready during the summer and they flew out to California and went to Hawaii instead.

My understanding is they can accommodate side sliding window but not fronts. If you are going to spend that kind of money it would be worth looking into having lewmar make custom hatch style glass that does open into one of these new frames.

Modern interior looks good. Anything over 370hp in a 31 is wasted. Carl ironically the boat runs great on one motor now, something I had really become quite capable and now shouldn’t need.

But yes after many years to go out and know you are coming back is pretty awesome. Maybe a low bar but that was the need.

Spectacular cabin layout, comfortable airy space for day trips. snipes boat took some inspiration from that and the Bad Co boat. Love the amount of light coming from the aft bulkhead.

After some additional adjustments, alignment etc the guys are reporting a top end of 36 kts and 23kts at 2100 RPMs which I think is where we will live most of the time.

Pretty darn happy at this point.

They make them either to big or two small for our boat at this point. I was looking at a large bow mounted trolling motor just for the spot lock. I don’t think you’d get any speed out of it for trolling.

I have 4 bilge pumps. Cabin, just aft of the cabin bulkhead, the transom and a larger in the transom with a high water alarm and a higher float switch. The crash valves will have hose coiled in the companionway, will be super easy to flush the system or to get a hose forward or aft if needed.
