I to had this problem when I got my 35B with 3208's. I was going to go the tank cleaning route; but decided against that. All they do is drop a hose in your tank and pump for a while. I just carried lots of filters and took the boat out in rough conditions with less than half a tank. The shaking stirred up the contamination and the filters cleaned up the crud. It took four or five trips; but that fixed everything. Now I go 12 months between filter changes. It was about 5 hours at the start. The Racors were easy to change at sea. Shut off the fuel valve, open the top of the Racor, pull out the old filter, in with the new, new o-rings, open fuel valv, wait until Racor is full, slap on the top, and fire her up. The engine filters waited until I got back to the dock. By changing out the Racors when my WOT dropped to 2600 rpms I never had the engine filters clog under way. I would not waste my money on "fuel polishing" at the dock.
