Hi Peter,

I think I'm the one who right off the bat assumed that my baffles were stainless but this weekend we confirmed that they were aluminum. I've pretty much given up on saving the tank. If I did cut the top off I wouldn't be able to deal with the baffling system much less release it from the glass, line it with vinyl ester (or other) and then re-install the baffle system. I just don't see it happening. I think I'm going with the stainless tank!
