On big issue also Scott is the fuel. You are using either 6 cylinders or 4 if you have a 4 banger Diesel. If you have gas forget about it as using 8 cylinders to run a compressor can add up in a short period.Fuel is very expensive now and will be I am told probably from now untill we leave the planet.So that becomes not just a factor but a significant factor. Gensets use very little fuel. Heck I ran 143 miles last weekend and used $372.00 of Red Died Diesel delivered (122 gallons)About an hour and a half of that was spent at anchor idling to charge batteries etc (over night trip- I use a 1500 watt inverter)
