On Boatdiesel.com they sell those high temp alarms that attach to your wet exhaust.They are about $70 per set (Alarm and sensor all included).They are suppose to be better than the regular manifold alarms.

Bruce all those impeller problems I had went away after I changed the cams last year. I also don't even think about starting the boat up until it is floating off the lift. Both of these led to trouble free cooling operations. They both run about 160 in 84 degree intake water. The Saltex (other brand names Salt Away etc.)really helps the cooling system inserts and housings too.
