I too hope the problem is solved.

First batch of Fuel came from a Marina that just installed new tanks. I was told he may have had some water issues...Maybe a phase seperation occured and I got a heavier dose of alcohol.

My initial problem may have also been the tank being cleaned of Tars Varnish and other contaminents gunked up in the tank and dissolved by the alcohol. The hard starting bent rod thing sort of crept up slowly. The fix with Jersey fuel was not immediate by any stretch, it was over the course of many weeks and several box's of Push Rods. When fuel from NY was again put in, it took awhile to see the symptoms develop, only this time I new what to look and listen for. Fuel was from another Marina that time.

When I cleaned out my tank, there was no Gelcoat, just mat. I will be getting the tank back next week and can send some pictures if you like.
