I'm one of the "cautious" sitting on the fence guys. RI just started getting the ethanol laced fuel this season. So far no problems in my B25. I still have the original tank and did not officially clean out the tank before adding this fuel, but I did run it down very low before pulling the boat last year and have taken fuel samples a few times after adding. There has been nothing notable in the sampling so far. I am running the old fram fuel/water filter in tandem with a new set of Racors and I have replaced all of the hoses. The only remaining worry is the fuel pumps (and tank of course). Current plan is to try to get through the season and change out the tank next winter. Or sell and buy a bigger boat with diesels – anyone interested in a 71 B25 with a fly? ;-)
