Our 6" exhaust is outboard as well to make room for indeck fishboxes. We went with round out of the transom. Thought about going out the sides but liked the traditional look of out of the stern.
Here is a link to some updates. SeaNile is out of the shed (will have pics tomorrow) and it's on to the 1/2 tower, riggers, etc.
