I had an outboard boat that would chine walk. Chine walk is when the boat bounces back and forth on the hull chines at the aft end of the boat at high speed. It's fun. If taked to an extreem and the bounce becomes too great one chine will dig in and the boat will do a real fast 180 or even roll over. I always shut her down before that happened. Oh by the way it was a little 1968 16 foot Larsen with a 135HP Mercury. That boat could do 60+ if the water was flat enought. The chine always kept me from testing the limits.
