Figure out your max amp draw multiply x 120 and that will give you watts for AC output. Size the inverter to be bigger to run the other things you think you need.
My guess is you'll need a few 4D's to run an aircon through an inverter for any length of time. Be sure you get the Big Alternators for the recharge.
I'd be more inclined to put a genset in if your goin the aircon route.
