Dave- I agree completely. Up in the Northeast, glassy flat days are few and in between. Going faster than 20 kts is limited to a handfull of days a season. The boat can take it, but I no longer can. Rods falling off the racks, tackle strewn in the cabin, spilled drinks to clean up later...if not worse. I cruise at 20-21 kts and push it no further.
Fishing is supposed to be fun...for the owner, too.
