the 1960 race boat was cold molded-the 1961 was fiberglass hence the name Glass Moppie---and many of the pictures i have seen of the race boats included a low profile superstructure----actually some of the racing requirements at the time required some crusing facilities---later in the 60's after the 25 and 31 became uncompetitive--bretram built some purpose built race boats---not sure if they were cold molded or glass .
