Nylon for low HP or emergencies.

If you feel you must use a Reducing Bushing to shim your prop I would only go with a "Bronze" Prop Reducing Bushing. The major problem I have seen with using Bushings is they are generally not installed correctly. Instead of two mating surfaces, you now have four. If one surface is out the other three will not mate properly, causing problems.

On larger wheels we have the bushings brazed into place, taper touched up and then have the wheel checked/reconditioned to help solve that problem.
