Vic: I know that my Ford 6.0 diesel will shear oil down a viscosity grade over the course of an oil change. I know Ford's high pressure oil powered injectors are hard on oil, but I wonder if the same thing may be going on to a lesser extent with your Cummins. If it is fuel dillution you may want to think about having your injecter looked at. Very hard on the lower end. Have you done an oil analysis recently? Your friend, The Shrimp Pimp.
