John, there all going to need it or have had it done and the price should reflect.

From what I've heard from others and in my own case, if the transom hasn't been rebuilt then it will be wet. The fiberglass on the outside and inside is thick enough for stock hp even when wet, over power it and you may have issues. Pretty much same for wiring, if it hasn't been done it will need to be.

I'm sure you could find a glass guy on KI who needs some moonlight work and can help with the rebuild.

Besides, they make neat lawn ornaments while being rebuilt, just ask my Mom-in-law.

Restoring it you get it your way, but it will cost major $$ over time.

So, If the price is right for you buy it and work on it when you can. If not wait til time and money fall in place.
