While I would not have a problem running a low hp setup, say a rag sailer with the nylon sizing bushing, I have seen too many failures using them on power boat applications.

I know there will be some that don't have problems, but my advice comes from the service end of boating.

A properly bored prop lapped onto the shaft with a non binding key setup can not be improved upon.

Another problem is the nylon bushing acts as a big insulator and can leave the prop with poor bonding connection thru the key or nut face which will both have growth over time.
