Hal, we have been doing the pre-UVI banter off the site among the 24 Faithful that are going.
We will fish 3 to a boat, so there are 8 teams. I picked the teams & their names. We will fish 6 days in a row, a tough deal for us old guys, so the teams are only good for the first day, then guys can switch up. I don't have the list in front of me, but team names range from Team Coonass (me & Andre' and my camp neighbor Don) to Team Quack (doctors from TX), the obvious Team Hyena, Team Limp Rods, Team Thudd, and so on.
The Tournament Director has promulgated the rules for the UVI and, in my opinion they are very fair. Most of the rules will be finalized after each day of fishing, that way no one can cheat on the rules while fishing since they don't know what they are finally going to be. How could it be any fairer?
Some of the categories for prizes will be (1) guy that cuts the top fart at the dinner table; (2) top pukker offshore - Timmy has that locked up I think; (3) umbrella (from red drink while in swimming pool) twirling duration using only two fingers; (4) largest fish T&R on the boat that the Tournament Director is on before all other teams are DQ'ed.
