Even though today was a fishing day, the weather was still snotty enough to turn boats back toward port after reaching 20 miles or so offshore. May be a very good sign for Joe Z. Joe's mako as of the time I left Cape May was in postion for 9 prize slots.....
heaviest mako in the tournament (day 1 & possibly day 2)
heaviest mako in all 3 calcuttas
3rd heaviest shark in the tournament, plus calcuttas

On a side note, there was a 610lb Tiger that was landed but disqualified because it was landed on a broken rod that was too short (after breaking)
according to IGFA rules.

Keeping my fingers crossed for Joe!!
