Are you sure you do not mean 4LHA-STE compared to 4LH-STE? Both were 230 HP untill the 4LHA-STE was re-rated at 240 HP. The "A" in 4HLA indicates that it was built in America. Also the LHA is genrally a later model engine in the USA and I believe the only ones available in the USA since at least the year 2000. There are some differences in the peripherals.
